C1     Prevention & Linkages
Presented by: Staff from Kern, Ventura and Mariposa Counties

This workshop will focus on Family First Prevention Services Comprehensive Prevention Planning.  California counties will share their prevention activities and how those fit within Comprehensive Prevention Planning. Implematix will provide an overview of the Cal Prevents Online Community of Practice and describe how Linkages of CPP teams can use CalPrevents to share information and best practices.

In part 2 of the Compassion Fatigue workshop, we will look at several tools and techniques to circumvent the most challenging aspects of compassion fatigue and to be able to regain a state of neuro-physiological (mind-body) regulation, recovery and resilience. 

C3     Safety Organized Practice (SOP) - Integrated Core Practice Model (ICPM) & Linkages

We will provide an introduction to Safety Organized Practice (SOP) and discuss how SOP can enhance engagement with Linkages families.  You will learn how SOP aligns with CalWORKs 2.0 and the Integrated Core Practice Model.

Come to this workshop and receive information about the nationwide Learning Community that CDSS and CFPIC are participating in to promote CalWORKs and CWS as partners for prevention. Find out what best practices we are learning from other sites.

C5     AB135 - State Policy Guidance and County Implementation

CDSS staff will highlight the state guidance  in ACL 23-94.  There will be time for Q & A and facilitated discussion on AB 135 implementation strategies and the interface with AB 429.
