The California Budget & Policy Center’s annual conference, Policy Insights, brings together the state’s policy community to share transformative policy ideas and strategize about the pathways toward creating a more inclusive California. The conference will be held at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center in Sacramento, California, April 22, 2026.

Policy Insights registration includes access to plenary sessions, workshops, continental breakfast, lunch, an afternoon snack, and a networking reception.

To ensure Policy Insights is accessible to as many people as possible, the Budget Center offers four ticket levels: Community, Supporter, Sustainer, and Champion. The choice is entirely yours, and does not require any documentation or application for subsidized tickets. Email policyinsights@calbudgetcenter.org with any questions.

Champion: For those looking to purchase a ticket and sponsor a scholarship. $575 $625 $675
Sustainer: For larger nonprofits, private sector, and government employees. This covers the true cost of attendance. $325 $350 $400
Community: For smaller nonprofits, community groups, or those paying for their own tickets. $250 $300 $350
Visionary: For students and young leaders. $125 $175 $225
   
What is the payment policy?
Policy Insights will accept credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express) or purchase orders. If paying by check for a purchase order, please inform your fiscal or business department that final payment is due no later than April 17, 2026. If paying by credit card, your statement will indicate Events Enterprises Inc. 

What is the cancellation policy?
If you are unable to attend Policy Insights, we encourage you to consider transferring your registration to a colleague or someone from an organization who otherwise cannot attend. No refunds will be provided for cancellations. Registrant transfer requests may be submitted via email to ht@eventswebpage.com until 5:00 p.m. on April 20, 2026. After that time, transfers can still be completed onsite — please instruct the replacement attendee to go to the registration desk when they arrive at the conference to transfer the registration.

Please provide the responsible agency contact name, email, and phone number for PO and payment in the agency section. If you do not have this information, please type TBD.
Click 'Continue'. A confirmation page will appear on the screen and receipt will be emailed.
